SureFire, Inc. started life 25 years ago as Mims Manufacturing. In the mid and late 80’s Don Mims was producing products for many companies in and around Fort Worth, Texas. Among the products was a crude rubber band shooter designed by one of his customers. Never one that leaves well enough alone, Don took it upon himself to design and build the “World’s Finest” rubber band shooter. Shortly thereafter, with Patent #4949494 awarded, SureFire, Inc. was founded and as they say, “the rest is history”.

Without a doubt, SureFire, Inc. does produce the “World’s Finest 12 Shot” rubber band shooter. Eventually, all other aspects of SureFire, Inc. have been sold off or fazed out to concentrate on our core product line.
